One of the things you want to keep up to date on is to back up your emails. It can cause huge problems if you lose all your emails.
I use both Outlook Express and Outlook for my emails.
To backup Outlook Express, I use
Incahis, which does a good job and is free. It backs up multiple email identities in Outlook Express as well as Explorer Favourites.
It does not recover your signatures, but that is pretty easy to set up again.
You can choose to restore all or some of your emails.
For backing up Outlook, I use
BackRex, which does a complete backup free also. I believe that if you purchase the software, it will also backup your signatures.
This is a really great program I discovered, because Outlook is os much more than just email. So it recovers all of your contacts, calendars, meetings, etc.
So try to keep your backups current so you can use these programs should your computer malfunction.
(By the way, I like to keep my backups on an external harddrive.)
Cheers,
Andrew
