Pay Per Click Search Engines

Pay per click search engines are extremely powerful.

Instead of optimizing and testing, trying to get the top positions at the major search engines for free, if you want to get started fast and get your business exposure, you can now bid for the top position and get yourself more seen almost everywhere on the main search engines when you go for sponsored links.

We recommend that you sign up with Overture and Kanoodle first.

Then you can go on to Findwhat and Enhance Interactive.

There are currently specials running for the various pay per click engines.  To check them out, look at the table below.

Reach over 80% of the active users on the internet when using yahoo search Marketing, formerly known as Overture.  Currently offering a $25 bonus credit when you open a new account.

Findwhat has great ROI and will drive high quality traffic to your website.

Of course there is also Google Adwords, one, if not the most popular PPC search engine.

You can open an account here, although we suggest that if you are on a tight budget that this be the last one you sign up for since the bids are often much higher on this search engine because of its popularity.

PAY PER CLICK SUGGESTIONS

Do not bid on terms that are too broad, for example "weight loss"

Even though there are a lot of people searching for that term they are generally underqualified. Same thing goes for "candle" and "air purifier" as an example.

Very broad terms are going to cost you a lot of money and unfortunately most people who search for broad keywords are not likely buyers.

You'll want to make your search terms as specific as possible and the idea is to have many specific terms versus a few broad terms.

Bid on keywords like the company names, etc...be specific and make sure you send them to a lead capture form.

As far as the descriptions,  I would make them more specific to qualify the traffic. I would tell them exactly what you have so that you discourage people who are merely curious and not necessarily interested in buying.
Also make sure to include your keyword phrase in the description and title.

I also suggest to manually re-charge your pay per click accounts so that you have control over how much you are spending (note for Google Adwords, you cannot deposit a certain amount like with the other engines, to control the amount you spend at Google, you need to set the cap for how much you want to spend per keyword, per day)
